IMMUNE BOOSTER

WINTER WELLNESS

Now that winter has well and truly kicked in and with the winds howling I am betting there will be some snuffly noses about.

Winter is a a great time to really nurture and nourish with hearty soups, tuber vegetables, hot herbal teas and warming herbs and spices. Keep processed sugars and alcohol to a minimum as these put a huge demand on the body, and make sure to get your 8-9 hours sleep a night. Importantly - keep your body moving too - it could be some latin dancing, long walks, hiking or yoga are just a few examples. If you do find yourself coming down with something - take stock and listen to your body. Brew yourself a warm cup of ginger tea with 2 tsp of lemon juice & honey, snuggle up in some warm clothes and socks and get to bed early.

The body is very clever and given the right nutrients and care it will flourish though-out the seasons. If you are repeatedly coming down with something or can't shake it contact me to book in for a naturopathic and nutritional consult and we will look at what is going on and get you back on track.

WINTER WARMER RECIPE -

This recipe here is not unlike one of our winter favourites - it is quick, nutritious and will warm you up from the inside.... you could spice it up a bit more by adding a clove of crushed garlic and some fresh

chilli and coriander.
